I am trying to add new songs to my Freeworship and want to put a space between lines of the song without creating a new song. Basically all our songs have a spanish translation underneath them which means there needs to be a space. I wanted to do the same using FreeWorship. Is there a way to do that?
Hi amg4321. I am a user looking for bilingual support as well, using Chinese and English. But because you are using English and Spanish, Latin based alphabets, you have the additional challenge to make a distinct separation of the languages.
Your best bet would be to create a new line with a bunch of hyphens between the English and Spanish lyrics. Here's my example, using Amazing Grace
How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me!
Cuán dulce el sonido
Que salvo a un desgraciado como yo
I once was lost,
but now am found
Was blind, but now I see.
Alguna vez estuve perdido,
pero ahora me he encontrado
Estuve ciego pero ahora veo
You'll notice that Verse 1 is broken into two slides, but the English and the Spanish that follows are separated by an empty line filled with five hyphens. It'll simply create a visual separator between the two languages on the same slide.
